War

What a rainy afternoon! I woke up to the sound of raindrops pattering steadily on my windows. How sweet that sound is, and how nice it is to sleep when it is raining, especially when I do not have work. You know, that kinda feeling when you wake up and you are in that dreamy state and you realise that you have all the time in the world to sleep and you just fall back to sleep. I love that!


Well sadly, not everyone on this planet wakes up feeling snug and secure in their comfy beds. War is raging in Lebanon, Israel and it is not a good sight. So far, it was estimated that 170 people have been killed and 415 wounded in Lebanon. It really is a disturbing sight that so many innocent lives were taken in this conflict which could have been avoided.


Maybe on this island where people dont know the real meaning of war, we will never understand the pain these people go through. All we can do is hope and pray that this conflict ends soon..

My Vacation

My vacation is ending soon, and I so do not want it to end.. I've still got so much shit I wanna do, but havent gotten down to doing them yet. Lets see, I wanted to enroll in yoga classes, wanted to pick up a new computer skill, wanted to brush up on this module that I've got to retake, and some other stuff. But naaahh, I'm not even close.. That's really sad, because vacation is supposed to be a period for me to catch up on things I've always wanted to do or do things I dont have time to do when school starts. How the hell am I gonna get such a fantastic break like this when I go out to work next time? God knows..

The good thing is, I get to spend more time with my girls! And I have more time to update my fantastic blog! Great thanks to some of the regular readers who tune in to my blog every now and then. You guys make my blogging all the more worthwhile. Finally, after such a long time, I got down to playing around with Photoshop. Didnt have much of a choice though, it was a well-taken picture, but just a bit too grainy. That's me and Stella just chilling out. I've added some artistic painted effect, so it looks really cool(or not).

Anyway, its time for me to sleep. Have work tomorrow and I'm hoping this week will be a great work week for me. Weekends are coming so enjoy ya!

The World Cup has officially ended, with Italy being the champions!! Say hello to more boring nights, but at least I wont be turning up at work with panda eyes :)

The night scene out there can be exciting, chilling with your friends or making new friends. However, you can never be too trusting with the new people you meet at these places. You can never tell the black sheep from the innocent ones. I've been around and I've seen things, so girls out there please be careful when strangers hit on you!

My vacation is ending soon, and I really hope to make the most of it, be it spending time with my friends or giving my best for my job. I also wanna meet my prince charming! I wanna meet someone nice who is patient enough to listen to my rantings, someone who will bring me out to fun places, someone who can sweep a fussy person like me off my feet haha! But then, what are the chances of guys like this who exist and have style and are normal? Oh well...

Hey all, it's been a while since I updated my blog but here I am!

Watched the World Cup with py and Jo just now. France won! From a penalty! Oh well...

Py bought a penguin which she said reminded her of the one called Hugzy( no idea how to spell it) from Friends. Check us out. We look cool. Haha.

I've been busy moving on with my life, taking this huge step which I thought I would never be able to take. It was tough initially, but I must admit that as time goes on, it gets easier. Advice to all those out there going through a break-up. Think of all the bad things your partner has done and remind yourself constantly that these are exactly the reasons why you should not be together with him/her. And smirk about the fact that whoever gets the shitty ass is gonna suffer! Lol, I already have in mind who the particular someone that will suffer is. And I am so damn happy for that bitch. Ohh, and in case you are thinking that this is a case of sour grapes, it so is not. I'm soooo damn happy for myself!

What would I look for in a relationship? I believe my guy has to give me the freedom and space that I want, meaning that he doesnt stop me from going out with anyone in particular, or questions me about every single person I go out with. I want my guy to be funny, and by funny, I dont mean lame jokes but someone with a sense of humour. I want him to be romantic at times, the occasional dropping by to visit me or the surprise gift that I subtly mentioned liking. And a guy with style triumphs over the guy with good looks anyday!

Man, its almost 8 am and I'm rambling like a mad person. Gotta get some sleep..
