One-eyed Jack

School has started, and yes, I'm beginning to feel the pressure already. It started off on a light tone, as we mainly formed our groups and discussed how we would carry out our projects. Currently, I'm devoting all my energy into reading up for my final year project before we officially start coding. There is so much to learn, and so much that the professor would not be teaching us, so its a lot of self-studying. We would be implementing a human resource system for the airline industry, and would be the largest project I have done so far at NUS, and requires the use of many technologies that we have to learn by ourselves. Discussing was easy, but to put that into code and then finally integrating everything together would be a huge task, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things go well.



I spent the last week or so nursing a sore left eye so my past week wasnt much fun at all. Bright lights blind me, and I would tear involuntarily at times. I saw a doctor two days ago and was supposed to be on MC for a few days, and struggling to school yesterday for a meeting proved to be too much for me. Hence, today I would be staying at home to get some well-deserved rest. Looking at my laptop and typing this post with one eye apparently required some effort, so I better go get some rest soon..

Goodbye

School is starting next week! The thought of assignments, intensive programming, constant mugging and exams makes me wanna puke already lol.. My job at OCBC just ended this Wednesday, and man was it a blast.. Everyone (almost everyone I think) was dressed in red, all geared up for National Day. My lovely colleagues gave me a farewell lunch at Crystal Jade, and work was hectic that day. We worked till 930 pm and it was followed by seafood at Red House restaurant at East Coast (courtesy of our bosses). Some pics taken:

I've made many new friends and learned so much from this job, and I'm definitely gonna miss everyone.. I have started on a new series Nip Tuck. Julian Mcmahon aka Christian Troy is hot! Haha.. Alright I'll end here.. Catch up soon!
