Happy Chinese New Year

Today is Chinese New Year reunion dinner! Kinda looking forward to it as I like steamboat, especially with loads of salmon! Haha, I am a salmon freak!

Anyway, this has been a pretty bad week. So much has happened.. Took a few days leave from school as I wasnt feeling up for it.. Now, I'm feeling really guilty as I had swore not to miss lessons for no reason.. Oh well, I shall push myself to catch up during this break =)

Hopefully, this Chinese New Year shall bring me some good fortune.. Let me collect lots of red packets and let me win some good money! Hehe.. I am trying so hard to break away from the life I was leading in the past few weeks. I know I have to, or else I would go crazy.

Here It Goes Again

Woohoo baby.. Valentine's Day is coming! Well, guess what? Fuck V-day. V-day equals to D-day lol. Miss the old times when me and my single gal friends would exchange presents and roses with each other on Valentine's Day. It was so fun as we would walk down the streets of orchard holding our stash of presents and roses, and in the midst of couples around us, we didnt feel as if we didnt belong. But now, I see friends around me getting depressed because they dont have dates. Well, seriously, its just over-rated. Who says you need to be with someone special on Valentine's day? I am perfectly capable of having a cup of coffee by myself at Starbucks reading a magazine on V-day, but yes, I will be silently cursing the lovey-dovey couples around me.

Was at DXO last Friday with my friends and it was so much fun! We danced, we drank, we laughed, and it felt good forgetting my problems for a while, even though that "problem" wasnt that far from me that night. Man, what would one do without friends? :)

I have found my theme song, you know, the song you play in your head to make you feel better. Alright I shall share my theme song with you! Just play it in your head or even dance to it when something or someone screws you up. Trust me it works! Ok here it is: Here It Goes Again by Ok Go.. Anyway, I would like to end this entry on a happy note. I still believe that there is someone out there who would love us for who we are and who would go the extra mile just to make us happy. All we need to do is to keep the faith going..
