The Heat Is On Me

Break away from my usual habit of listening to angry rock songs and listened to some Norah Jones. She was never one of my favourite singers but her voice is strangely comforting. Well, maybe once in a while, change is good..

All the frustrations and pressure from studying, projects, coming tests and exams are driving me crazy. How do you compete among all those smart students who come from strong computing backgrounds or those China and India students where computing is in their blood? I know its tough, but it's not impossible.

I saw something from Grey's Anatomy which I like very much. This guy said that he was never the brightest student in class, but it was the discipline he had that made him the top surgeon. I want to be this guy.. Oh well, I'll be happy just to have some form of discipline lol..

My Wonderful Birthday With My Wonderful Friends

What a long time since I last updated my blog. So much has happened!

Had a wonderful birthday celebration with my friends. A steamboat followed by a drinking session. Thanks to everyone who showed up. And thanks to my boyfriend (we only became official recently :D), who went through so much trouble to make sure I had the perfect birthday.

Cheating Husbands

Read Xiaxue's blog.. Her recent entry intrigues me... Something about weak women and how she wants to slap them..

I understand about blind love, but for the woman to go to the extent of tolerating her husband cheating openly in front of her, wow.. I wonder how she does it. I read somewhere that some women behave like this because they are afraid that they wouldnt be able to find someone else if they leave their husbands.

If my husband ever cheats on me, I would slap him across the face so hard that he will forget he ever had a face. Well, I might give him one chance to repent. At most one chance. That is provided if I am feeling magnanimous, which rarely happens. If a guy cheats on you, he will most likely do it again. I know of a friend's friend whose husband cheated on her not once but so many times. The jerk always manages to sweet talk his way out, giving lame excuses which she believes. Each and every time, she clings on to him like he's the perfect husband. When friends talk to her, she claims that love keeps no record of wrongs. Yes true, but why stick with a guy who doesnt even love and respect you????

Fish tells me that he wants me back. All I need to do is give him time. And he has picked up some unusual habits. Like growing his hair out and switching to viceroy. Yeh, jerks like him suck big time.

Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head

I woke up this morning to the sound of raindrops falling steadily outside my window. I love the rain, I love the sound it makes, I love the fact that I can just snuggle into bed and continue my sleep.

Ahhh, the beauty of weekends... It also marks the end of my one week break as school is starting next week. Tests, assignments, projects... So little time, so much to do. What's worse is that my french project mate has flown back to France for the holidays and here I am sloughing away for a 35% project. Not that I am blaming her though, I learned a lot doing almost the whole project by myself. Yessss, the hidden blessing from doing extra work..
